Echo sounding inspections reveals the world beneath the surface. Fast current or murkiness of the water has no effect on the accuracy of the results. Depending on the location and extension of the target below the waterline, we use either a scanning sonar or multibeam sonar.

Scanning sonar
Accurate 2D images and 3D point clouds tied to an appropriate coordinate system can be made with a scanning echo sounder. Any structural deviations or damage as well as their location and extent are precisely defined in the inspections. Target structures include piers, bridges, power plants, dams, seawalls and riverbeds. Our equipment can also be used for locating missing persons or objects.
Depending on the circumstances, the inspections are carried out from a barge, crane or from frozen sections of water.

Multibeam sonar
Scanning with multibeam sonar provides an accurate definition of sea, river and lake bed topography. Scanning is carried out from a moving vessel, making it possible to map large areas quickly and cost effectively. Inspection data is saved onto the appropriate coordinate system required by the client to simplify the post-processing of results.

Diving
Traditional diving inspections are also offered. Samples can be taken below the waterline to assess internal structural damage.
